How to Apply Submit an application that includes an essay stating the Qualified Individual's reasons for desiring to become a teacher upon graduation from College; and receive recommendations from at least two (2) teachers at the Wheatley School. To be a Qualified Individual, an individual must be a graduating senior attending The Wheatley School and maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average in the Qualified Inividual's junior and senior years at the Wheatley School.
Restrictions The Foundation shall pay to the Qualified Individual who has been awarded a scholarship the amount of Three Thousands Dollars per year for each year in which the Qualified Individual is eligible to receive the scholarship. The Foundation shall have the ability to increase or decrease this amount in its sole discretion, provided that such increase is applied uniformly. The Foundation shall not make any loans to any individuals for the purpose of education or otherwise, nor shall the Foundation advance or directly pay any tuition for an individual. After a Qualified Individual has received a scholarship grant from the Foundation relating to the Qualified Individual's freshman year of college, the Qualified Individual automatically shall be entitled to a scholarship for the Qualified Individual's sophomore, junior, and senior years of college, provided that Qualified Individual: (i) is enrolled as a full-time student in College; (ii) maintains a satisfactory academic record (as determined
