DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 10/31/2022, THE FLAHERTY FAMILY FOUNDATION HAD A SUBSTANTIAL CONTRACTION IN THEIR ASSET LEVEL. THIS CONTRACTION WAS DUE TO A TIMING DIFFERENCE RELATED TO A NON-CASH CONTRIBUTION OF STOCK RECEIVED BY THE FOUNDATION AT THE END OF THE PRIOR FISCAL YEAR WHICH WAS SOLD AND THE PROCEEDS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR. THE FOUNDATION HAS NO PLANS TO TERMINATE OR DISSOLVE. THE DISTRIBUTIONS ARE ALL REPORTED ON FORM 990PF, PAGE 11, PART XIV AS GRANTS PAID. THE DISTRIBUTIONS WERE MADE TO PUBLIC CHARITIES EXEMPT FROM TAX UNDER IRC SEC. 501(C)(3) AND ARE IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOUNDATION'S CHARITABLE GOALS.
