How to Apply This four year scholarship is intended to give financial assistance to a deserving student of sound character with sufficient scholastic aptitude to complete college work. Applicants will be judged on the basis of character, need and academic record. The recipient will receive $2000 in 2014 and the next three years, stipends to be determined by the earnings of the foundation. The application requires student name, address and phone number, parents' names, college to be attended, planned program of study, projected college costs, college aid offered and any other scholarships received. Applicant will list high school extracurricular activities, volunteer work and work experience, both in and out of school, including dates, as well as any unusual circumstances which will affect paying for college. Applicant should describe how the four years of college will be meaningful and productive.
Restrictions Applicant must be a member of the current graduating class of Salem Central School and must be accepted for a four year college program leading to a degree, two years of which may be completed at a junior or community college.
