About

After 18 years of capacity building grant making to nonprofits in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, the board decided to distribute the foundation's entire endowment and dissolve the foundation. Most grants were made by Dec. 12, 2024, however some funds were left in order to cover administrative expenses. Following the payment of the final administrative costs, the final distribution was made on February 4th, 2025 at which time the bank accounts were closed and all activity ceased. All distributions were made in the form of cash grants to qualified 501(c)(3) publicly supported charitable organizations. The board resolution to dissolve the foundation states the Foundation will be dissolved 'once all the dissolution tasks have been completed.' The resolution was approved by all board members at the November 18th 2024 board meeting. Minutes are attached. Completion of the dissolution activities are noted above.
