Restrictions
THE FOUNDATION CONSIDERS GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM CHARITIES AS DEFINED UNDER THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND APPLICABLE REGULATIONS. AN APPLICANT MUST HAVE OBTAINED A 501(C)(3) DETERMINATION LETTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THE APPLICANT MUST PASS THE GUIDESTAR CHARITY CHECK WHICH INDICATES VERIFICATION WITH IRS PUBLICATION 78 AND IRS BMF 509(A)(1). GRANTS ARE MADE WITHOUT ANY COMMITMENT TO FUTURE SUPPORT FOR THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVING THE GRANT. GRANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY ORGANIZATION THAT DISCRIMINATES BASED ON CREED, GENDER, OR RACE. THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA IS PRIMARILY EAST TEXAS AND THE TWIN-CITIES AREA OF MINNESOTA.
