Please attach to the application the following:1. An officially certified high school transcript including SAT scores and grade point average.2. A resume listing your background, extracurricular activities, community service or activities, honors received or work experience.3. A written answer to the following two essay questions: a. As a student preparing to encounter the academic rigors of college, what event or person has shaped your thinking and why? b. Please give a one-page description of your accomplishments while you were a student. This should include activities you have been active in at school and community level. You also should discuss your career plans that you hope to pursue after college.
Restrictions
Any student is eligible to receive aid from thisscholarship foundation who can provide verifiableinformation in response to the following requirements:1. Graduating high school senior of one of the following schools located in Southern Ocean County New Jersey: - Lacey Township High School - Pinelands Regional High School - Southern Regional High School - Barnegat High School - The Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (M.A.T.E.S.) ONLY if they come from the sending disticts of Barnegat, Lacey, Pineland and Southern. Other students are not eligible.2. Minimum grade point average of 3.5 (B+) on a 4.0 system.3. Minimum SAT score of 1100, excluding the writing portion.4. Top 20% of high school class. A student may receive up to $2,500 a year for a period of four years. The college for which a student requests financial support may be in-state or out-of-state but must be an accredited institution.Financial support may be awarded annually until the studentgraduates provided
