How to Apply The Daniel B Dingman Scholarship for Peace and Justice was establised in 2014 to honor contributions by a graduating high school senior to the causes of peace and social justice. In addition to academic excellence, desired qualities include leadership, follow-through, initiative, compassion, tolerance. We are looking for students in good standing who also care about their community and show it through positive actions such as environmental work, peer mentoring, serving on committees, bully prevention, writing or visiting the incarcerated, teaching younger students, caring for an elderly, ill or injured neighbor, etc.Eligibility: must be a graduating high school senior attending one of the local high schools which serves the Los Alamos community. The student must have a good academic record,must be in good standing at the school and must intend to pursue college-level education at a 2-year or 4-year college or university.Submission Deadlines and application requirements:Competitive appl
