The defined purpose of the THE SHAH EXPLORATION AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION is to (i) provide funding for the exploration of an archeological find off the West coast of India, (ii) build schools and fund education for need based students and (iii) supporting the advancement of Ayurvedic medicine in the United States;. More particularly:1.Train divers and excavators to research and retrieve artifacts off the coast of India;2.Purchase equipment for the excavation of such archeological find;3.Oversee and supervise such excavation; 4.Build a museum for such artifacts which are found as a result of such excavation; 5.Build a library in India/America;6.Build a school in India/America;7.Network with Indian/American groups in the United States and India; 8.Support local artisans in India by purchasing and distributing inventory; 9.Provide microfinance for business opportunities for small business in India; 10.Provide funding for research on Vedic Sciences;11.Build an elementary school and library and workshops in India;12.Provide grants for need based students to attain a higher education in lndia; and13.establishing and supporting standards of education for schools of Ayurvedic medicine, including establishing an accreditation council to set standards for ayurvedic educational institutions.
