STERN SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS: IN ADDITION TO COMPLETING THE VINELAND HIGH SCHOOL LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION, APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT, AND A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM A TEACHER OR COUNSELOR. APPLICATIONS MUST ALSO SUBMIT A 50 WORD OR LESS STATEMENT CONCERNING THEIR INTEREST AND CAREER GOALS, AND HOW THEIR GOALS RELATE TO AGRICULTURE.

ALBERT B. STERN SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ARE LIMITED TO GRADUATING SENIORS AT VINELAND HIGH SCHOOL (VINELAND, NEW JERSEY) WHO PLAN TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION BY STUDYING AGRICULTURE IN COLLEGE. FIRST PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO A STUDENT IN AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES OR BUSINESS AND AGRONOMY. STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES OR LIFE SCIENCES MAY ALSO APPLY. THE AMOUNT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP IS $2,500 PER YEAR FOR UP TO 4 YEARS.
