The applicant should provide the following information:1) The name of the requesting organization, address, telephone number and contact person. 2) A statement briefly describing the proposed project or other use of the requested funds, the specific objectives to be accomplished, and the geographic area and target population to be served.3) A project budget showing sources of financial support committed and pending, and how the requested funds will be used.4) A description of the method to be used by the organization to evaluate the results of the project and a plan for sustaining the funded activity after initial funding expires, if appropriate.5) A brief history of the organization and the back
Restrictions The Tippett Foundation makes grants to public charities in San Diego County in the following four (4) areas of interest and provides assistance for such religious, charitable, scientific and educational purposes as would, in the judgment of the trustees, be consistent with the philanthropic goals and objectives of William Hall Tippett and Ruth Rathell Tippett.ELDER HEALTHCARE. Organizations established for or involved in providing care for or research into the causes and cures of illnesses affecting the elderly, such as cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure and heart disease), cerebrovascular disease (strokes), depression, falls and injuries, and osteoporosis.MUSICAL EDUCATION. Organizations that provide educational opportunities in the musical arts for young people. Although college level programs will be considered, programs directed to younger individuals will be given the greatest consideration.
