How to Apply
We invite organizations who share the Foundation's goals to submit an initial approach through a concise letter of inquiry (LOI), including: - A brief description of the organization - A synopsis of the program to be proposed - A clear statement of program/grant objectives and how they will be evaluated - An estimate of the size grant to be proposed or range of proposed funding - A statement of how the program/project will be sustained following the grant period - Contact name and information, including the e-mail address of the project manager for further communication
Restrictions
Grants are made only to organizations that are certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as tax exempt, non-profit organizations, 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1), and that are not private foundations. No grants can be made to individuals. The Foundation's primary geographic focus is the Chicago metropolitan area.
