How to Apply GRANTS AWARDED THOUGH THE RESPONSIVE GRANTS PROGRAM ADVANCE THE FOUNDATION'S VISION OF TRANSFORMING THE WESTERN SUBURBS INTO THE HEALTHIEST REGION OF THE COUNTRY. ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS MUST SUBMIT AN ONLINE LETTER OF INTENT (LOI) IF: NEVER RECEIVED A GRANT IN THE LAST 3 YEARS; OR INTENDS TO REQUEST MORE THAN $25,000. LOI'S ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 15 OR AUGUST 15, SPRING, FALL CYCLE. IF THE ORGANIZATION IS INVITED TO SUBMIT A FULL APPLICATION, IT IS DUE MARCH 15 AND SEPTEMBER 15, SPRING, FALL CYCLE. All applicants must complete their applications online at www.cmfdn.org
Restrictions CMF AWARDS GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED IN IRC SECTION 501(C)(3) AND FURTHER AS PUBLIC CHARITIES (EXCEPT FOR CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED IN IRC SECTION 509(a)(3) DELIVERING SERVICES WITHIN THE 27 CMF COMMUNITIES. RESPONSIVE GRANTS ARE ALLOCATED FOR PROGRAM SERVICES AS WELL AS FOR GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT. BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU REVIEW CMF'S POLICIES AND GUIDELINES, GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS (27 TARGET COMMUNITIES), AND CURRENT PRIORITY AREAS WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE.
