The Ichthus Foundation is a Texas Non Profit Section 501c3 Corporation whose purposes are consistent with the purposes of the Madalene Cain Foundation. The Ichthus Foundations Articles of Incorporation will be amended to change its name to the Madalene Cain Charitable Foundation and to add the purposes of the Madalene Cain Charitable Foundation to its purposes. By merging the two organizations, the Madalene Cain Charitable Foundations activities will be monitored by a board of directors rather than one individual, administrative expenses will be reduced, and its assets will be afforded the greater protection a corporation provides. It is believed these benefits will enhance the charitalbe benefits of both organizations.
