THE FOUNDATION DOES NOT HAVE A FORM TO BE FILLED OUT BY A GRANT APPLICANT. ANY REQUESTS FOR GRANTS SHOULD BE MADE IN WRITING SPECIFYING THE PURPOSE OF THE GRANT IN PARTICULAR DETAIL. THIS WRITTEN REQUEST SHOULD INCLUDE: 1. A NARRATIVE PROPOSAL DESCRIBING: THE PLAN OR DESIGN FOR THE PROGRAM INCLUDING ACTIVITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT AND OBJECTIVES TO BE ACHIEVED; AND THE PLAN FOR CONTINUING THE PROJECT AFTER THE TERMINATION OF FOUNDATION SUPPORT 2. AN ITEMIZED BUDGET SHOWING: TOTAL PROJECT COST AND THE AMOUNT REQUESTED FROM THE FOUNDATION; AND SOURCES AMOUNTS AND NATURE OF RESOURCES CONTRIBUTED BY THE APPLICANT AND OTHER SUPPORTERS OF THE PROJECT 3. A LIST OF ANY OTHER GRANT-MAKING AGENCIES TO WHICH THE APPLICATION FOR SUPPORT HAS BEEN MADE 4. A COPY OF THE RULING GRANTING FEDERAL TAX EXEMPTION UNDER 501C3 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. ORGANIZATIONS MUST BE CLASSIFIED 509A1 OR 509A2 5. A LIST OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING BOARD.

THE TED AND GRACE BACHHUBER FOUNDATION SEEKS TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE MAYVILLE AREA. GRANTS MADE BY THE FOUNDATION REFLECT THE BOARD'S INTENTION TO ASSIST THE MAYVILLE AREA THROUGH THE FINANCIAL PROMOTION OF EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE AND OTHER WORTHWHILE AND VIABLE PROJECTS. THESE PROJECTS MUST OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENRICHED LIFE TO A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE OR PROVIDE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WITH SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ASSISTANCE TO ACCOMPLISH POSITIVE SOCIAL GOALS. GRANTS WILL BE MADE ONLY TO ORGANIZATIONS OR TO CAUSES WHOSE OBJECTIVES ARE CLEARLY DEFINED. THE RECIPIENT OF THE GRANT MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF BEING A "QUALIFYING DISTRIBUTEE" FOR INTERNAL REVENUE PURPOSES. GRANTS WILL NOT BE MADE TO POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS OR FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES. GRANTS WILL NOT BE MADE TO INDIVIDUALS.
