How to Apply There is no special form for grant applications. However, each proposal must include a one-page cover letter describing the project, the amount of funds requested, a statement that the applicant is not a 509(A)(3) Agency, the contact person, and e-mail address. The cover letter and proposal should be sent to: proposal@RFFTX.org and signed by the organization's executive director. The proposal itself should be no more than four pages, written in Microsoft word or excel, and include 1) Project description, purpose and outcome desired 2) justification of need 3) budgeting and expenditure of funds 4)specific goals, objectives, outcomes and methods of meeting them 5) time frame of completion. A copy of the applicant's IRS determination letter and most recent financial report can be sent via snail mail at a later time if the applicant is awarded a grant.
