The mission for which the Artesia Library Foundation was created has been accomplished with the completion of the new Artesia Public Library facility. With several years of successful operation of the new building, the board of Artesia Library Foundation voted on 11/20/20 to dissolve this foundation and donate all remaining funds to a public charity for use in support of the Artesia Public Library. Artesia Library Foundation is in the process of filing dissolution paperwork with the New Mexico Secretary of State and the New Mexico Attorney General's office.
