Restrictions
THE BAYNE FOUNDATION PROVIDES DISCRETIONARY GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS FOR PROJECTS WITHIN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHICH ADVANCE PRINCIPLES OF LIBERTY AND CHARITABLE GIVING. SUCH CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS MUST BE NON-FOR-PROFIT WITH A VALID TAX EXEMPTION STATUS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, AND MUST BE CLASSIFIED AS PUBLIC CHARITIES UNDER SECTIONS 509(A)(1) OR 509(A)(2) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE BAYNE FOUNDATION DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO RELIGIOUS, POLITICAL, OR FRATERNAL ORGANIZATIONS. GRANTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BAYNE FOUNDATION.
