How to Apply Organizations interested in requesting an application are encouraged to review the Application Process, Grantmaking Approach, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) pages on the Foundation's website (www.peterkiewitfoundation.org/for-grantseekers/). If an organization determines it may have a fundable project, a representative from your organization should connect with a Foundation Community Investment Officer (CIO) at least three weeks prior to the application deadline to discuss the proposed project, confirm eligibility to apply, and determine alignment to Foundation goals. In most cases, a brief written summary of the request will be needed to determine alignment and readiness. If eligibility, alignment, and readiness are confirmed, a CIO will issue a URL link to our online grant application. Applicants will find the grant application checklists on the Foundation's website (www.peterkiewitfoundation.org/for-grantseekers/application-process) helpful in completing the grant application.
