SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT SERVICES IS THE NATION'S LARGEST DESIGNER AND MANAGER OF SCHOLARSHIP AND TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAMS FOR CORPORATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS. SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT SERVICES IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH DUKE ENERGY CORPORATION OR FOUNDATION. Restrictions
EACH YEAR, DUKE ENERGY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL/SECONDARY SCHOOL SENIORS WHO ARE DEPENDENT CHILDREN OF QUALIFIED EMPLOYEES, RETIREES OR SURVIVING SPOUSES/DOMESTIC PARTNERS OF DECEASED EMPLOYEES OF DUKE ENERGY CORPORATION. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE MERIT-BASED WITH CONSIDERATION GIVEN TO ACADEMIC RECORD, LEADERSHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, HONORS AND AWARDS, ADULT APPRAISAL, WORK EXPERIENCE, A STATEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER GOALS AND UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
