Restrictions The following guidelines will be used in review of applications: - Innovative and efficient approaches to fundamental medical research of the brain on the mechanisms underlying the formation, storage and retrieval of memories, the impairment of these processes associated with aging, and the development of therapeutic strategies for the prevention and/or alleviation of these impairments in humans, intended principally for clinical application. - Seed grants to initiate promising new projects for medical research of the brain in age related memory loss. - Grants to charitable organizations or institutions involved in the medical research of the brain in age related memory loss. - Proposals for collaborative support between individual research scientists of different institutions and organizations in age related memory loss.
