How to Apply THREE GRANT CYCLES PER YEAR- TWO OPEN CYCLES AND ONE RFP CYCLE DURING AN OPEN GRANT CYCLE, APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE AN ONLINE PRE-APPLICATION QUESTIONNAIRE FOLLOWING REVIEW OF THE PRE-APPLICATION QUESTIONNAIRE, QUALIFIED ORGANIZATIONS WILL RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A FULL PROPOSAL. ALL PRE-APPLICATION QUESTIONNAIRES RECEIVE A RESPONSE DURING RFP CYCLE, APPLICATIONS FROM UNIVERSITY CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE IN DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND LEADERSHIP EDUCATION IN NEURODEVELOPMENTAL AND RELATED DISABILITIES PROGRAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. APPLICATIONS IN RESPONSE TO RFP MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS.
Restrictions MUST BE 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT QUALIFIES AS A PUBLIC CHARITY. AWARDS ARE USUALLY MADE FOR PROJECTS DURING ONE-YEAR PERIODS OF SUPPORT. NO SUPPORT FOR POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS, CANDIDATES, LEGISLATION, INDIVIDUALS, EQUIPMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS, ENDOWMENTS OR CAMPAIGNS FOR DEBT REDUCTION, ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE THE US, PROJECTS THAT DO NOT ADDRESS HEALTHCARE DELIVERY, SPECIFIC THERAPIES OUTSIDE FORMAL HEALTHCARE SETTINGS, OR ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES IN EXCESS OF 20 PERCENT OF TOTAL FUNDING REQUEST.
