A grant request from an organization should be submitted in the following manner:1. The request for the grant should be prepared on the organization's letterhead and signed by a member of the board of directors or an officer of the organization.2. The request should contain the following information: i. Specific information related to the desired use of the grant ii. A list of current Board of Directors iii. A copy of the organization's exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service, and iv. A copy of the organization's most recent financial statements, and a budget for the grant.
Restrictions
Awards are generally limited to those organizations that provide services for the advancement of religious worship and the education, health, support and care of needy residents in Kleberg, Kenedy, Brooks, Jim Wells or Willacy Counties.King Ranch Family Trust does not approve funding for the following:-Individuals seeking funding for personal, business or other use-Start-up costs for nonprofits, business, groups or individuals-Debt reduction-Pass-through entities-Projects outside of Brooks, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg and Willacy counties.-Brick & mortar projects
