GRANT APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING AND MUST INCLUDE SATISFACTORY EVIDENCE TO ASSURE TRUSTEES THE APPLICANT IS A QUALIFIED CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION TO WHICH THE TRUST MAY PROVIDE FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PERTINENT INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CODE AND REGULATIONS. THE APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE AT A MINIMUM, A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM FOR WHICH THE FUNDING IS SOUGHT, WHAT BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM ARE GOING TO BE, AND THE COST OF THE PROGRAM.
