Restrictions The scholarship awards benefit exclusively children of employees of Stewart Information Services Corporation (substantial contributor) and its subsidiaries for the attendance at a qualified accredited college or university, which maintains a faculty. The scholarship awards cover both college tuition and books at $2,500 per student per year. The student is required to maintain an overall grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients of the scholarship award are chosen by one or more independent judges based on a grid system: financial need 35%, extra-curricular activities 25%, SAT/ACT scores 25%, Academic Distinction & Achievement 10%, essays 5%. Academic Distinction & Achievement is reflected by class rank, AP/IB credit, cumulative GPA or honors and/or awards received.
