How to Apply
An application is available during February and March and the applicant must submit the completed application along with copies of the official high school and college transcripts. If the applicant has more than 30 hours of college credit they are not required to submit a copy of their official high school transcript.
Restrictions
Applicants must be an unmarried and a natural or legally adopted child including any stepchild or foster child living in the employee's home of an employee of EOG Resources Inc. or its subsidiary. Additionally the child must be a high school graduate and must be accepted for the coming year as an undergraduate at an accredited college or university excluding military academies. Scholarship recipients are selected based on financial need scholastic achievement writing skills demonstrated leadership and community service. The number of scholarships depends on the number of completed applications received. In accordance with the Determination Letter issued by the Internal Revenue Service dated February 28 2002 no more than 25% of the total applicants can be awarded scholarships for a given academic year.
