During this tax year, Cancer Answers paid a grant in an amount representing more than 25% of the Foundation's net assets of $22,910 (as measured by fair market value) at the beginning of the Foundation's taxable year ending December 31, 2017. Cancer Answers has adopted a plan for dissolution in 2019. Cancer Answers plans to distribute all remaining assets to the UT Health Science Center at Houston solely for the endowed scholarship program in cancer research in March 2019.
