THE FOUNDATION TRUSTEES PLANNED IN 2019, THE FIRST SET-ASIDE YEAR, TO ASSIST THE RESIDENTS OF AN IMPOVERISHED VILLAGE IN INDIA, THE HOMETOWN OF THE FOUNDER OF THE FOUNDATION. THE PROJECT CONSISTED OF A GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO AID NEEDY CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE AND A CONTRIBUTION TO AN INDIA HOSPITAL TO ASSIST THE RESIDENTS OF AN IMPOVERISHED VILLAGE IN INDIA. In 2020 the Foundation expended $500 of the total $3,261 set-aside amount. This amount was used for student scholarships to assist the poor. The remaining set-aside amount was $2,761. This amount was distributed in 2024 as part of a grant to the Apollo Foundation, a tax exempt organization in Hyderabad, India, to be used to assist with the medical needs of the poor.
