How to Apply Organizations seeking grants are requested to call the Foundation to discuss the potential funding requests before submitting a proposal. The Foundation accepts the Colorado Common Grant Application. Organizations are allowed to submit only one proposal in a calendar year.
Restrictions Foundation resources are invested in organizations contributing to Denver's art and cultural community through four grant-making strategies: general operating support to arts organizations committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability; project support to support new or ongoing projects that are exceptional for their artistic merit, innovation, collaborative design and/or targeted appropach to cultural participation; arts innovation grants for the development of ground-breaking approaches to creating and presenting art, engaging new audiences, and developing new organizational/business models to strengthen capacity and financial sustainability; and capital project grants for organizaitons with which the Foundation has an established relationship and for which 75% of the campaign goal has been achieved.
