GRANTS ARE USED TO SUPPORT FOR THE RESEARCH AND ADVANCEMENT IN MEDICINE. THE ADDAX FOUNDATION IS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AND PARTICULARLY FOR FUNDING HUMANITARIAN CAUSES, SUCH AS CANCER RESEARCH (E.G. RESEARCH GRANT TO AKHURST LAB AT UCSF), DONATIONS TO THE RED CRESCENT TO PURCHASE A VAN FOR DELIVERING NECESSITIES TO UNDERPRIVILEGED PEOPLE, AND DONATING VENTILATORS AND OTHER MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO NON-PROFIT TEACHING HOSPITALS TO PROVIDE TREATMENTS FOR THE INCREASED NUMBER OF COVID PATIENTS. CURRENTLY THERE IS NO SET PROCEDURE OR PRORGRAM FOR ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR NEED. HOWEVER, ALL OF THE DONATIONS GO TO WIDELY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
