APPLICANTS CAN APPLY THROUGH A GRANT APPLICATION PORTAL AT HTTPS://WWW.BETHANYLEGACY.ORG. BETHANY LEGACY AWARDS GRANTS TO 501(C)(3) NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES. GRANT-FUNDED ACTIVITIES MUST SERVE RESIDENTS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, INDIANA. BETHANY LEGACY WILL GRANT TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE INCLUSIVE UNBIASED SERVICES AND NON-JUDGMENTAL CARE IN AN UNPRESSURED SETTING. THE APPLICATION PORTAL WILL REQUEST DESCRPTION OF GRANT USAGE, WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO REQUESTS INCLUDING HOPEFUL, STRENGTHS-BASED CULTURE, POTENTIAL FOR SYSTEMS IMPACT, COLLABORATION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS OR GROUPS, MULTI-GENERATIONAL AND PEER-SUPPORTED APPROACHES, AND INNOVATION.
Restrictions
BETHANY LEGACY WILL NOT FUND 1. HEALTH CARE LEVIES, LOBBYING OR POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS, SCHOLARSHIPS, OR ENDOWMENTS. 2. PROJECTS WHERE BETHANY LEGACY GRANT FUNDS ACCOUNT FOR MORE THAN 40% OF THE TOTAL OPERATING BUDGET OF THE LEAD ORGANIZATION. BETHANY LEGACY GRANT FUNDS ARE NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE EXISTING FUNDING SOURCES. 3. ORGANIZATIONS, PROGRAMS, OR PROJECTS THAT DISCRIMINATE IN ANY WAY BASED ON PARTICIPATION OR MEMBERSHIP IN A SPECIFIC RELIGIOUS FAITH, RACE, GENDER, CITIZENSHIP STATUS, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE, OR DISABILITY.
