Please refer to "What makes a strong proposal" on the Trust's website (www.pipertrust.org). For assistance with the application process, email kmatti@pipertrust.org. Grantees are encouraged to talk to a program officer before submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). After review of the inquiry, organizations may be invited to submit a full proposal for consideration.
Restrictions ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS MUST: A) BE LOCATED WITHIN OR PRIMARILY SERVING RESIDENTS OF MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ; B) BE TAX EXEMPT UNDER IRC SECTION 501(C)(3) OR AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF GOVERNMENT; C) HAVE BEEN IN ACTIVE EXISTENCE AS A 501(C)(3), UNLESS A GOVERNMENT INSTRUMENTALITY, FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS; D) DELIVER PROGRAMS WHICH SUPPORT HEALTHCARE AND MEDICAL RESEARCH, CHILDREN, OLDER ADULTS, ARTS AND CULTURE, EDUCATION, OR RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS; E) NOT BE A PRIVATE FOUNDATION OR INELIGIBLE TYPE III SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION.
