Applicants may be asked to detail the program for which they are requesting funding, and to explain how their proposals fit within the Foundation's core focus areas, which include: education; housing; human services; and community impact. Applicants may be asked to illustrate the impact and budget of their proposals, and may also be asked to provide proof of their qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, including IRS Letters and previously filed tax returns.
Restrictions Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) organizations, and the Foundation will give preference to those organizations providing services that align with the goals and communities served by Northwest Community Bank. The Foundation does not provide financial support to political organizations or candidates, activities for religious purposes, individual endeavors, or organizations which are discriminatory in their practices. Additionally, the Foundation will not fund proposals for the following: organizations which utilize a fiscal agent; alumni or endowment campaigns; fundraising events; sports teams; advertising; lobbying; travel; and/or other private foundations. Organizations may apply once per grant cycle, and annual grants will not exceed $25,000 per recipient.
