I respectfully request abatement of any penalties related to our late filing of the Form 990-PF for the tax year ending 12 31 2024. Due to extreme and unforeseeable personal and organizational hardships in 2024 we were unable to file on time. In that year I experienced a crisis within my church that resulted in the loss of our entire volunteer base and a full turnover of our board members. Additionally I faced severe financial hardship and had to relocate. Throughout these circumstances our organization continued to operate minimally collecting less than $10,000 in donations during the year. As soon as I was able I resumed compliance responsibilities and was able to install new board members for 2025. This was an isolated incident and not a result of willful neglect. I respectfully ask the IRS to waive any penalties associated with the late filing due to reasonable cause under IRS guidelines.
