I filed an amended return for 2023 to change to calendar year then filed 2024 for calendar year but it was repeatedly rejected. I am thus trying to file for a short year in 2024 to get to a calendar year for reporting. I hope to avoid any late fees as it was filed timely but the effort to change the year was challenging.
