Awards must meet the criteria of the foundation bylaws. In addition to the generally permitted expenditures this corporation is to make grants to: 1Feed clothe house provide education support and health care for and otherwise assist the poor and needy; 2Promote a wholesome educational environment for boys and girls by giving awards to teachers and faculty whose example contributes to building strong character where example is consistent with the moral and ethical teachings of the Roman Catholic Church; 3Provide financial support and guidance to other organizations which have established a record of building good moral and ethical character in boys and girls; 4Create educational and health care mechanisms facilities to care for children with chronic or severe diseases or disabilities but only where such functions to protect and advance the wholesomeness of character and inherent dignity of each human person and child and operated consistent with Roman Catholic morals ethics.
