About

The Mental Insight Foundation formally dissolved effective January 8, 2025, following approval of its plan of dissolution and filing with the California Attorney Generals Registry of Charitable Trusts in January 2025.All remaining assets were transferred to The San Francisco Foundation, a qualified public charity described in section 501(c)(3), in accordance with the Foundations governing documents and applicable state law.The Foundation previously received Schedule K-1 income that constituted unrelated business taxable income; those partnership interests were fully disposed of as of December 31, 2024, and the Foundation no longer holds or anticipates any interests that generate unrelated business income.Only a de minimis balance remains to cover final administrative expenses and filing obligations. Accordingly, the accompanying Forms 990-PF and 990-T are filed as final returns to report the termination of the Foundations activities.
