LETTERS OF INTENT MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE BY FEBRUARY 2022. ORGANIZATIONS CONFIRMED AS ELIGIBLE WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION TO PROCEED TO THE FORMAL APPLICATION PROCESS BY FEBRUARY 2022.
Restrictions
ORGANIZATIONS MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING BASIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: - NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE TAX EXEMPT UNDER IRS SECTION 501(C)3 - COMMUNITY GROUPS THAT HAVE A 501(C)3 ORGANIZATION SERVING AS THEIR FISCAL SPONSOR - GOVERNMENT AGENCIES (E.G., CITY DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC SCHOOL) THAT ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF STATUS AS A GOVERNMENT ENTITY ANY ELIGIBLE NONPROFIT OR ORGANIZATION SERVING IN AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOUNDATION'S THREE PROGRAM AREAS, HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND THE ARTS, MAY APPLY. THE FOUNDATION WILL ONLY CONSIDER PROPOSALS FOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT SERVE THE GREATER LONG BEACH COMMUNITY.
