He or she should not have been suspended or reprimanded for dereliction of duty, or the missing of meetings or work without an approved excuse. The lifeguard should also be respectful of his supervisors, equipment and the bathers. 2. He or she should be currently attending college or have just graduated high school and attending college in the fall. 3. The recipient will be in good standing at their school and have an above average GPA.
