SWESR is dedicated to rescuing English Setters throughout the Southwest United States. We rehabilitate English Setters by providing full medical care and behavior assessments in a foster home in order to prepare them for adoption. To ensure all SWESR dogs are placed in loving, permanent homes, we screen and qualify adopters and provide ongoing guidance for the life of each dog. SWESR promotes animal welfare through community education and outreach and values positive teamwork within our organization as well as partnerships across rescues.

Our mission is to protect the air water and land in residential areas for the use of its people for this generation and generations to come.

ELF LOUISE IS AN ALL VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION THAT FOR OVER 50 YEARS HAS PROVIDED CHRISTMAS PRESENTS TO CHILDREN IN 5,700 LESS FORTUNATE FAMILIES IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA.
