ANWEP members comprise of women professionals and entrepreneurs who are immigrants of African descent living and working in the state of Texas and other states within the USA. Our goal is to educate inspire empower and mentor women and girls in our community through the Empower Girls in STEM mentorship program Leadership workshops and support for women who are victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse. Our mission is to promote social justice equity and the enhancement of overall well-being within immigrant communities with a specific emphasis on African immigrants in Texas. As a 501c3 non-profit organization we are committed to empowering women entrepreneurs and professionals through advocacy education and support services. By fostering collaboration providing resources and advocating for policies that promote inclusivity and opportunity we strive to create a more equitable and prosperous environment for immigrant communities to thrive.
