THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION SHALL BE TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BOYS AND GIRLS ATTENDING ACCREDITED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. IN ADDITION, THIS CORPORATION SHALL PROVIDE COUNSEL AND GUIDANCE TO SUCH STUDENTS AS PART OF A BROAD PROGRAM TO ASSIST WITH THEIR ACADEMIC TRANSITIONS BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL.

TO GIVE YOUTH IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM THE SKILLS NEEDED TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF INCARCERATION AND CREATE POSITIVE FUTURES. WE BELIEVE IN THE POTENTIAL OF ALL YOUTH AND GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND PRACTICE CRITICAL SOCIAL, JOB AND LIFE SKILLS.

WIPE OUT KIDS CANCER OFFERS COMFORT AND HOPE TO KIDS WITH CANCER THROUGH SUPPORT PROGRAMS SERVING THE ENTIRE FAMILY AND FUNDS INNOVATIVE RESEARCH LEADING TO NEW DISCOVERIES AND TREATMENTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST PEDIATRIC CANCER. WOKC PRACTICES FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY IN STRATEGIC AND TACTICAL WAYS TO REDUCE COSTS WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY INCREASING PROGRAM SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO KIDS WITH CANCER. WE TAKE OUR FIDUCIARY DUTY AND FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP VERY SERIOUSLY WITH RESPECT TO EXPENSES AND A STRONG BALANCE SHEET. WOKC'S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND CEO COLLABORATE OVER A SERIES OF REGULAR FINANCIAL REVIEWS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO ENSURE ADEQUATE RESERVES ARE MAINTAINED TO NOT ONLY CONTINUE OPERATIONS, SHOULD WE HAVE ANOTHER PANDEMIC TYPE SHOCK, BUT TO ALSO BE POSITIONED TO MEET THE GROWING DEMAND FROM CHILDREN ACROSS TEXAS BEING SENT TO THE VARIOUS PEDIATRIC CANCER CENTERS WOKC SUPPORTS. The Organization is a volunteer organization, inspired by Jewish values, working through a program of research, education, advocacy, and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children, and families striving to ensure individual rights and freedoms.

CCDC offers a wide range of services and development programs. Major ones include: Social Services: A community kitchen serving ~13,000 meals/month to people experiencing homelessness. A clothing closet & shower facility (showers, clean clothes) for homeless and indigent people. A laundromat service including both a permanent facility and a mobile unit.
