Our programs empower these mothers to overcome systemic obstacles and build a brighter future. In the past year Heart of Courage upheld its tax-exempt status by delivering these key free programs and services: Court Advocacy and Case Management: Family advocates assisted mothers in navigating legal challenges associated with child welfare cases by attending court sessions providing guidance and preparing documentation for family reunification plans. Case Management and Needs Assessment: Family advocates conducted individualized needs assessments with clients covering critical support areas such as housing transportation and family and community support. The mission is the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of weimaraners from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and abused. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership and promote spay/neuter. We are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet over population by opposing puppy mills, pet stores selling live animals, and irresponsible over-breeding of companion animals.

The High Plains Food Bank collects, warehouses and distributes donated/purchased food and products to over 160 other partner, non-profit organizations throught the panhandle.

The New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving is a full-size community orchestra comprised of musicians from Irving and surrounding areas, most of whom have performed together for several years.The members formed the orchestra in the summer of 1988 as an expression of their commitment to preserving the longstanding tradition of superior quality orchestral performance in Irving. The New Philharmonic continues to offer the community a variety of enjoyable and traditional symphonic compositions, as well as popular pieces from film and stage.Through involvement in local service projects, the orchestra enriches the cultural life of the community it serves.
