EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Solace Charities aims to raise awareness and mobilize financial resources for the work carried out by Solace, a voluntary organization headquartered in Thrissur, India. Solace provides financial, medical, moral and social support for families with kids suffering from terminal illness, with the support of benevolent individuals and corporations around the world. Solace extends support to get the best available medical treatment for the suffering child in tandem with the medical fraternity. We provide children with life-saving medicines on a monthly basis and provide for traveling and stay to take the child to hospital for treatment. Solace organizes regular home care visits by a group of dedicated volunteers that makes them feel that they are not alone. For cancer patients, we also provide funds for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and so on.

One of the Arts Councils primary focuses is to provide financial support to its member organizations, giving over $1.5 million in grants since 1980. In addition, the Arts Council presents high quality exhibitions in its galleries, featuring both local and national artists. In 2011, The Arts Council began a partnership with the College of Music at the University of North Texas to curate exhibits of regional artists in the Murchison Performing Arts Center expanding the reach and visibility of area artists to new audiences.

MARCUS CLAY TARGET BOOSTER CLUB INC. IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED ON NOVEMBER 22, 2016 UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS AND WAS DETERMINE EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3). THE BOOSTER CLUB WAS ORGANIZED TO HELP THE YOUTH ATTENDING MARCUS HIGH SCHOOL AND SURROUNDING SCHOOLS, BECOME INVOLVED IN ORGANIZED CLAY TARGET SHOOTING EVENTS. CLAY TARGET SPORTS ARE ONE OF THE VERY FEW HOBBIES THAT PEOPLE CAN ENJOY FOR A LIFETIME. THE BOOSTER CLUBS GOAL IS TO INTRODUCE HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO CLAY TARGET SPORTS AND EXPOSE THEM TO THE AMAZING CULTURE WITHIN THE SPORT. THEIR COACHING MODELS FOLLOW THE TOP COACHES IN THE COUNTRY, EACH OF WHICH HAS BEEN CHAMPIONS MANY TIMES OVER IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SPORTS. THE BOOSTER CLUB MAKES CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT A PARAMOUNT OBJECTIVE AND SEEKS TO DISPEL COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS REGARDING THE SAFE HANDLING OF FIREARMS.
