Initially, our goal was to reach and serve 125 clients at our center. However, from April to December, GCTPC has served 410 clients. Of that total, 44.2% are Black, 41.5% are Hispanic, and 13.3% are White, and 0.1% are Asian. Our participants ages range from 17 to 42, but we noticed that most clients are between 18 and 25. Geographically, we have served clients in the following cities of Galveston County and outside of the County. Galveston 102, Texas City 114, La Marque 47, Hitchcock 26, Friendswood 1, Dickinson 32, League City 8, Bacliff 7, Santa Fe 2, Pearland 2, and Houston 41. Parenting classes are provided weekly and 22% of our clients have participated. 53 services have been provided, whether a class, virtual course, or counseling session.Our Family Connections Program is funded by the Episcopal Health Foundation.
