Our Daily Bread feeds, shelters, and cares for the homeless and at-risk in our community while maintaining the dignity of our guests and offering opportunities for a new start.

Established in 1914, the Art League has been run by volunteers for 109 years. Community Participation The Art League works in partnership with other local non-profits to enrich the cultural and natural environment.DiversityParticipate in citywide annual Juneteenth celebration; held retrospective exhibit of local artist and educator, Dr. Erma M. Phillips, "Through My Eyes." Kids Summer Art Classes Every year, the Art League offers a two-week-long low-cost workshop for children 8-12. Workshops Workshop classes and demonstrations are held periodically and are open to the general public. K-12 Juried Show Held in conjunction with the Grand Kids Festival in April, the show allows local students (K-12) to compete for prizes and show off their artistic abilities. Member & Juried Shows Twelve times a year, the gallery changes shows: nine membership shows and three juried shows that anyone age 16+ can enter.

The mission of the Bryan Museum is to bring the history of Texas and the American West to life through art, education, and preservation. The Museum's world-class collection, engaging exhibitions, and outstanding educational history and literacy programs offer visitors the opportunity to explore the multicultural stories of the past while inspiring them to shape the stories of the future.

THE ORGANIZATION RECRUITS, PROVIDES TRAINING AND SUPERVISES COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE AS ADVOCATES FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN GALVESTON COUNTY, TX.

Provided a home education and all necessities to 54 children at an orphanage in Haiti. Provided administrative and financial support for two schools in Haiti for 350 students and fed each child every day. Provided 5,000 pounds of prepackaged rice and beans to food pantries in the US.

TO ENRICH THE COMMUNITY THROUGH ACTIVITIES PROMOTING SUCH PROVISION, INCLUDING RAISING FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE CHILDREN.
