The primary focus of the Sherman Education Foundation is to provide creative educational programs, educational aids, faculty and staff development opportunities, curricular enhancements, and other innovative solutions to meet identified educational needs of Sherman students which are beyond the basic educational program of the Sherman ISD.

Provide nutritious food products to the underserved community in Grayson County. Food distribution to the public Tuesday Thursday and Sunday. Food distribution to other benevolent entities Monday Wednesday and Friday. Cold weather relief several times annually by distributing coats gloves sleeping bags blankets etc.

Animal protection through rehabilitation of abused & abandoned dogs, focusing on spay/neuter. Providing safe haven for life for 300+ dogs. Assisting low income families, the homeless & elderly; donating food for pets & paying for emergency care and/or spay/neuter when owner unable to pay

Denison Main Streets mission is to mold Denison as a regional hub with a wide range of engaging activities and to blend commercial activity in the area with livability. As such our two primary goals are the preservation of Denisons heritage and the facilitation of economic growth in order to foster community pride promote civic action and lead to municipal improvements.
