About About Us The EVAN FISCHER FOUNDATION MEMORIAL FUND believes that all children should live to reach their full potential. With the tragic deaths of our children and loved ones to drug addiction, we join together to fight the disease of addiction and the devastating affects it has on our youth. The EVAN FISCHER FOUNDATION MEMORIAL FUND Grant/Scholarship fulfills our goal by offering them the opportunity of recovery and a new chance at life. It helps the recovering addict by providing the opportunity to enter recovery and build a healthy and productive life. About Evan Evan David Fischer, 21, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on November 24, 2011 from an overdose of heroin. Evan, the beloved son of Anne and Matthew Fischer was born on December 10, 1989 in Berkeley, CA. He was a cherished little brother to his sister, Claire Fischer. Evan loved his family and friends, movies, music, practicing yoga and paintball. His inquisitive mind was always learning. Evan was an honest and sweet soul who will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His sweet smile and sideways glance will live in our hearts forever. Evan is also survived by his grandparents, Richard and Jean Carpenter of Sun City West, AZ and Warren and Diana Fischer of Fair Oaks, CA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
