THE FOUNDATION RAISES MONEY FROM EMPLOYEES, A GOLF TOURNAMENT, AND OTHER FUND RAISING PROJECTS. THE MONIES ARE SPENT TO SUPPORT THE DAUPHIN CANCER CENTER, AND TO PURCHASE NEEDED EQUIPMENT FOR THE BAPTIST HOSPITALS OF BEAUMONT AND ORANGE.

RESIDENTIAL RETIREMENT HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.

TO PRESERVE THE HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS. THE SOCIETY OPERATES THE MUSEUM OF THE GULF COAST AND MAINTAINS AN HISTORICAL PROPERTY: THE POMPEIIAN VILLA.

The corporation shall promote, within the territory covered by the charter from the time to time granted it by the Boy Scouts of America and in accordance with the Congressional Charter, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the Boy Scouts of America, the Scouting program of promoting the ability of boys and young men and women to do things for themselves and others, training in Scoutcraft, and teaching them patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues, using the methods which are now in common use by the Boys Scouts of America.

To provide youth with the opportunity to play and learn the game of soccer and foster sportsmanship and responsibility in youth.

TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL STUDENTS AND GRANTS FOR TEACHERS

THE FOUNDATION IS TO BE PERPETUAL AND IS ESTABLISHED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING AND SUPPORTING THE TEXAS ENERGY MUSEUM FOR MAINTENANCE, DISPLAYS, AND OPERATION OF THE COLLECTIONS UNDER ITS AUSPICES.

DEPENDENT WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS AND/OR CHILDREN OF DECEASED JEFFERSON, ORANGE, OR HARDIN COUNTY PEACE OFFICERS OR JEFFERSON, ORANGE, OR HARDIN COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS.

TO FOSTER AND SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES AND PURPOSES OF BOYS HAVEN OF AMERICAN, INC. AND OF SUCH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AS ARE DESIGNATED BY THE FOUNDATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THAT QUALITY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE --HELPING TO ASSURE CONTINUING EXCELLENCE OF THE SERVICES AND FACILITY OF BOYS HAVEN OF AMERICA, INC. --FOSTERING AND SUPPORTING THE ACTIVITIES AND PURPOSE OF BOYS HAVEN OF AMERICAN, INC. AND OF SUCH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AS ARE DESIGNATED BY THE FOUNDATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THAT QUALITY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. --RECEIVING FUNDS FOR ENDOWMENT PURPOSES AND EITHER INVESTING THE FUNDS OR TRANSFERRING THE FUNDS TO AN APPROPRIATE INVESTMENT AGENCY AS DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FOUNDATION. --ENDEAVORING TO SEE THAT ALL FUNDS RECEIVED ARE MANAGED SO THAT MAXIMUM BENEFIT WILL BE DERIVED FROM THE DONOR'S GENEROSITY.
