Through our private online support, grief awareness initiatives, resources, incentives, and financial support we serve to offer caring advocacy and connection through the entire grieving process. All of our programs are based on the concept of community-based support. We offer no formal counseling and do not have any therapists or counselors on staff. Our assistance comes from going through the same and similar loss. We offer a private Facebook group for widowed women only. The widow private group is a respite, where respectful sharing of feelings, experiences, and successes are encountered. We are careful to allow only widows into the forum called:Hope for Widows PRIVATE Group for Women Only. Additionally, we have aPublic Facebook pagethat showcases the organization and uplifting posts, consistent blogs and allows our community to reach widowed women daily. Hope for Widows Foundation continues to connect many women worldwide through the power of social media.

Forney Area United Way's primary exempt purpose is to solicit and distribute funds to benefit various non-profit organizations in Forney, Texas and the surrounding area.
