SINCE 1983, KEEP MIDLAND BEAUTIFUL (KMB) HAS DEVELOPED GRASS-ROOTS ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND PROGRAMMING THAT ENCOURAGES PEOPLE IN MIDLAND, TX TO TAKE CARE OF OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH CLEANING UP AND PREVENTING LITTER, REDUCING WASTE, RECYCLING AND CREATING AND MAINTAINING BEAUTIFUL SPACES. KMB IS AN AFFILIATE OF KEEP TEXAS BEAUTIFUL AND KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL. SPECIAL LITTER PROGRAMS OPERATE CONTINUOUSLY TO DEAL WITH OUR LITTER PROBLEM, ESPECIALLY DURING BOOM TIMES IN MIDLAND, TX.

WE PROVIDE FUNDS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ABUSE, NEGLECT OR POVERTY AND CONSIDERED AT-RISK WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. AS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION, WE ALSO STRIVE TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATIONS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP CHILDREN OF ALL AGES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. BY PROVIDING NECESSITIES, FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES, OIL PATCH KIDS WILL CONTINUE CHANGING LIVES AND GIVING HOPE TO THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY.

Permian Basin Animal Advocates came from humble beginnings in April of 2019 when three women decided to advocate for the unwanted cats and dogs in our community. We began as a small foster based rescue, providing our homes and personal funds to fully vet the animals in our care. We originally focused on helping animals in Midland County with the plan to grow into surrounding areas as the needs grew. It didn't take long for the community to notice the things we were doing, and the animals being saved. More foster homes have opened up and funds were donated towards vet care. We are proud to say that we still saved dogs and cats from Midland, Odessa, Big Spring. Stanton, Lamesa and Monahans (plus a few from Lubbock) Thanks to our donors, all animals are fully vetted before adoption. We maintained 36 foster homes in Midland and Odessa (for both cats and dogs). TO SAVE AND CHANGE LIVES OF HOMELESS DOGS AND CATS BY PROVIDING SHELTER, FOOD AND VETERINARY CARE UNTIL THEY CAN BE ADOPTED TO PERMANENT LOVE HOMES. ALL OF THE ANIMALS ARE VACCINATED, MICROCHIPPED AND NEUTERED PRIOR TO BEING ADOPTED.

Provides juvenile offenders an alternative to formal court proceedings and offers a chance for these youth to accept resonsibility and move forward in their lives. Also provides mentoring programs designed to build self esteem and group support.

HEARTSONG MINISTRIES' PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE - IS TO SERVE AS AN EXAMPLE OF, AND CATALYST FOR, CHRISTIAN CHARITY TO PEOPLE IN NEED. HEARTSONG WILL FULFILL ITS PURPOSE THROUGH A PLATFORM OF GRANTMAKING, VOLUNTEERING, AND FUNDER COLLABORATION IN MIDLAND, TX, SURROUNDING AREAS, AND, AS NEEDED, TO A BROADER NATIONAL AREA. HEARTSONG WILL SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE IN LINE WITH HEARTSONG'S CHARITABLE PURPOSE AND THAT SERVE OTHER AREAS OR OTHER DISENFRANCHISED AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS.

Langtry Village, Inc is organized under the Texas Non-Profit Act and is governed by Section 202 of the Federal Housing Act of 1959. Its 85 units are efficiency and one bedroom for only disabled age 18 and over elderly age 62 and over.

Dog rescue for dogs that are abandoned, injured, or ill and the families cannot afford medical care themselves. Also sending dogs to other states for permanent adoptions.

To inspire and strengthen the Permian Basin community by creating and implementing experiential workshops in schools, which shall develop the capacity of students, faculty, and staff to effectively address social problems often found in schools including but not limited to: bullying, gossip, racism, and stereotypes. To strengthen the leadership capacity of student groups.

THE MISSION OF CASA OF WEST TEXAS IS TO RECRUIT, TRAIN AND SUPPORT COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE APPOINTED BY THE COURT TO ADVOCATE FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM.

Campus and Community Foster Care & Adoption: High Sky recruits and trains caring individuals and couples to provide safe, stable homes for children ages 0 to 17 in the Permian Basin. Foster care and adoption services are designed to meet the individual needs of each child through personalized treatment plans, therapeutic support, educational assistance, and independent living preparation. All children attend public schools, engage in community activities, and receive the support they need to heal and thrive. Children in our on-campus program are typically ages 4 to 15 and often present with higher levels of need, while community-based homes provide a family environment throughout the region.Teen Home General Residential Operation (GRO): High Sky operates a therapeutic teen home for adolescent boys with higher levels of need who might otherwise be sent out of the region. The program provides a structured and supportive home where youth receive therapeutic care, build confidence and life
