GIRL SCOUTING BUILDS GIRLS OF COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND CHARACTER, WHO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. GIRL SCOUTS WORKS HARD TO GIVE A VOICE TO THE UNDER-REPRESENTED, REACHING OUT TO THOSE IN NEED, BRIDGING GAPS, AND CREATING LASTING CONNECTIONS.THIS IS PARTIALLY ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH OUR VIRTUAL TROOP MEETINGS, WHERE WE ADDRESS SOME OF THE CHALLENGES GIRLS ARE FACING TODAY, SUCH AS BULLYING, CONFLICT MANAGEMENT, AND COMPROMISED SELF-ESTEEM.THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS, WHICH INCLUDE A SERIES OF HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES, GIRLS DEVELOP GREATER SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL CONFIDENCE, AND INCREASE THEIR SOCIAL AWARENESS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS. GIRLS ALSO LEARN HOW TO BE MORE CONSIDERATE AND CARING AS THEY EXPLORE THE IMPACT THAT THEIR THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS HAVE ON THEIR BEHAVIOR TOWARD OTHERS.BY WAY OF A PATCH PROGRAM, PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE HELPFUL RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THEIR GIRLS' MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS YEAR-ROUND.

Dog rescue for dogs that are abandoned, injured, or ill and the families cannot afford medical care themselves. Also sending dogs to other states for permanent adoptions.

Campus and Community Foster Care & Adoption: High Sky recruits and trains caring individuals and couples to provide safe, stable homes for children ages 0 to 17 in the Permian Basin. Foster care and adoption services are designed to meet the individual needs of each child through personalized treatment plans, therapeutic support, educational assistance, and independent living preparation. All children attend public schools, engage in community activities, and receive the support they need to heal and thrive. Children in our on-campus program are typically ages 4 to 15 and often present with higher levels of need, while community-based homes provide a family environment throughout the region.Teen Home General Residential Operation (GRO): High Sky operates a therapeutic teen home for adolescent boys with higher levels of need who might otherwise be sent out of the region. Lift Them Up International LTU is a faith-based nonprofit located in Midland TX. We work to alleviate the effects of post-genocidal poverty through educational sponsorships and charitable giving. On top of that we promote dignity among those whom we serve and ultimately- a path to self-sufficiency and replication. We partner with reputable local churches and nonprofits who provide boots on the ground' to support our operations and to be the hands and feet of Jesus' in our target communities. We are currently partnering with churches and nonprofits in Rwanda Iraq Pakistan and Albania. We believe that God is lifting up the nation of Rwanda to be a blessing and an example of success to other countries that have experienced genocide. Our heart is for orphans and widows but we serve refugees and other vulnerable people too.
