The Mission of theEd Rachal Foundationis established by the last will and testament of the Foundation’s benefactor. In his will dated June 2, 1964, the late Ed Rachal decreed,“…I devise and bequeath the rest and residue of my estate of every kind and wheresoever situated real, personal and mixed, to such corporation to be used exclusively for the benefit of charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the State of Texas”In keeping with this instruction, theEd Rachal Foundationwas created on July 29, 1965. This rather profound, albeit simple statement provides the mission pursued by the Foundation’s management staff and Board of Directors.

Rising Tide Ministries helps people find their passion which leads to fulfilled lives, increased quality of life, increased earning potential in addition to offering eternal life through Jesus Christ. We offer a variety of job training which enables community members to obtain employment or better employment. We serve as a central hub in which not for profits can work together to avoid the duplication of services and therefore avoid wasting resources while bringing needed resources to the community.

FUND CRITICAL NEEDS AND SHORTAGES THAT DO NOT FIT INTO THE PAPD POLICE BUDGET. PROVIDING BENEVOLENT AND SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS STRENGTHEN THE MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PAPD AND THE PUBLIC IT SERVES. RAISE AWARENESS OF THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE THE PAPD PROVIDES TO OUR COMMUNITIES. THE FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT 501 (C) (3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR EFFORTS THAT ENHANCE POLICE/COMMUNITY RELATIONS, CRIME PREVENTION, AND PUBLIC SAFETY THROUGH GRANT FUNDING FOR SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT, TRAINING, AND COOPERATIVE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.

TVS Ministries raises the necessary donations in order to fund interactive online classes by select world renowned teachers of Biblical studies and systematic and practical theology.

TO PROTECT THE COASTAL BEND'S AIR QUALITY AND INSPIRE ALL EMISSION SOURCES TO STRIVE FOR PERFORMANCE TARGETS BEYOND GENERAL COMPLIANCE THROUGH RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF GUIDANCE DOCUMENTS, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND TOOLS FOR EMISSION-REDUCING ACTIVITIES.

TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE WORK OF 4-H CLUBS, FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA, FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA, AND ADULT LEADERS OF NUECES COUNTY IN PROMOTING ANY PHASE OF AGRICULTURE, HOMEMAKING AND INDUSTRY.
